Another tough week for everyone being back in lockdown and remote learning.
But reading is still a great way to rest and relax and de-stress in a such a stressful situation.
Have you ever listened to an audiobook?
Audiobooks are a great way to continue reading when you don’t have access to the school library.
Has anyone ever told you that audiobooks are “cheating” and not real reading. Do you think that only people who have trouble with reading use audiobooks?
Well research shows that listening to audiobooks is just as valid a way of reading as using a physcial book.
In fact, listening to audiobooks is called “ear reading”.
Read more about ear reading in this week’s newsletter, along with some suggestions for how to access audiobooks for free!
And don’t forget to follow the library on Instagram (@fhclibrary) for regular updates on reading suggestions, book reviews, photos from around the library and more!
Happy Reading everyone!
