Annie feels she is about to start her life as she leaves school and starts college. Finally she will have the freedom to be herself. As a teenager with cerebal palsy, she knows all about labels and she craves the type of independence that she will gain at her new school and the chance to be more than the disabled girl.
At college she meets Fab, a Polish immigrant who is loud, wild and energetic and is ready to start life greatest adventure, falling in love.
This light, fun and engaging story follows what happens when Annie meets Fab and what happens as Annie’s desire for independence and Fab’s desire for love clash.
