I Have No Secrets by Penny Joelson

What would you do if everyone told you their secrets because there was no way you could ever tell anyone?  What would happen if suddenly you had a way to communicate?

Jemma has Cerebral Pals, is severely disabled,  and has no way to communicate.  But that doesn’t mean she’s not aware of what is going on around her.  In fact, she is incredibly intelligent and inquisitive.  When her carer’s seemingly charming boyfriend tells her something devastating – and then her carer disappears – how is she going to let anyone know what she knows?

A simple but surprisingly gripping read. It is refreshing to read a story from the point-of-view of a severely disabled person and enlightening to view the world from their perspective.
