Linny and Sebastian have both experienced the loss of a loved one. Linny’s sister has run away and Linny is desperately trying to make sense of her leaving and come to terms with the fact she may never come back. Sebastian is trying to find the father he has never known and understand why he left in the first place.
Linny and Sebastian are both lovable, flawed, real characters that you just want to hug and make everything better. They are both dealing with heart-wrenching situations in the best way they know how, which may not necessarily be the best way. But that just makes their stories all that much easier to relate to.
