When her sister and Josh breakup before Lara Jean’s sister leaves for College in Scotland, how does Lara Jean cope with her crush on Josh but not betray her sister? Well, she pretends to date ex-crush Peter, which gives her cover from Josh and Peter can make his ex-girlfriend jealous after she dumped him. But what happens when Lara Jean realises she just might not love Josh after all?
